ASH BENNALLACK - cycleWELL founder.

Ash Bennallack is the Founder of cycleWELL and is the MC for our Camps.

With over 30 years of lived experience and personal experimentation in health, fitness, weight training, nutrition, sports supplementation and every other related trend, fad and myth that has come along during that time, it’s no surprise that Ash has found himself at the helm of a world-first concept like cycleWELL.

Ash’s formal experience and qualifications include; Post Graduate Certificate – Wellness (R.M.I.T), Certified Corporate Resilience Trainer, Mental Health First Aid Qualified, Level 1 Wellness Coach, and Cert 3 and 4 Fitness.

Ash is the MC, project manager, marketing and PR team, CFO, CEO, cleaner…..you get the picture! Ash is the person who’s supposed to know what’s happening at all times. He’ll be with the group throughout all of the rides and workshops and will be more than happy to talk to anyone about his love of BAUM bikes, his kids and crazy staffy ‘Esme’, and of course - the experiences that have lead him to ‘here’ - and his Road To Better...

Ash’s Hi-Vis, Orange POC Octal helmet has become an Icon of our group rides and he has no plans to retire it any time soon!

Our Men’s mental health and relationships partner Men’s Toolbox will take us through their ‘Relationships Interactive’ Workshop at the Camp and will also provide mental health screening opportunities for us all.

Men’s Toobox will be sharing knowledge and tools in their ‘Relationships Interactive Workshop’, covering the day to day challenges that men and women face off the bike.

They will be breaking down what disagreement/argument/high conflict in a relationship can look like, and what it really means? They will provide greater insights on how gender differences play a role in our everyday relationship challenges, including:
• Communication Styles
• Listening Styles
• Stress Responses

There wont be a person - man or woman - at our Camps that has not been in an argument with a partner at some stage in their life where they have wondered how the hell it went from the speed of a relaxing recovery-ride, to that of a high-speed chase through the streets in a Ferrari within seconds! Men’s Toolbox will help us to understand how that can happen and what we can do about it.

Rohan Garfoot from ‘New You Personal Training’ is one of our dedicated PT’s for our Camps.

Rohan’s moto in life is ‘Healthy Living, Healthy Lifestyle’. Rohan believes the key to a healthy and happy life is to divide your time into three sections; time for yourself, time for your family and time for your work. Rohan grew up on a sheep farm in Western District Victoria. With the love of football, cycling, athletics, and tennis, it was no surprise at the age of 41 he studied to be a Personal Trainer. Rohan has successfully operated his own personal training business for the past 12 years. Rohan’s clientele ranges from 18 to 80 year olds, men and women.

Rohan enjoys helping his clients reach their personal health, fitness and life goals. Over the years he has trained clients to lose weight, gain muscle, improve their cardio fitness, trek the Kokoda trail, improve their performance in professional basketball and footballer and everything in-between..

Rohan joined us as a participant in our first ever cycleWELL Camp! After the camp he kindly offered to support us in any way that we thought we could use his skills and experience - so we very gratefully asked him to join our ‘crew’ for the October Camp.

Rohan’s Qualifications include: Certificate 3 in fitness and Certificate 4 in personal training, Level 2 Wellness Coach, Level 2 Athletics Coach, Level 1 AFL Coach, and qualified Sports Nutrition Coach.
